Kourkoutis group partners with Iris Light Technologies, Inc.

September 21, 2021  |  In a recently announced CCMR JumpStart project, Iris Light Technologies, Inc., (Rochester) will collaborate with the Kourkoutis group to characterize black phosphorus nanomaterials using atomic-resolution electron microscopy and spectroscopy. The goal of this joint project is to advance our understanding of the basic properties of these materials – properties that are critical for the design of electrical contacts and doping necessary for developing a laser technology for photonic chips.
